STUCK

Completed as a part of 2006's National Solo Album Month, "Stuck" explores themes of feeling stuck in a rut, forsaking one's dreams in favor of stability and comfort, coming to terms with adulthood, feeling disconnected and out of place, and more. The album was self recorded in less than one month's time and as such has more than a few rough edges, but it's one of James' strongest and most personal works to date. While much of James' body of work has featured strong industrial influences, "Stuck" strips it down to a more basic, organic rock sound, along with touches of pop, post-punk, ethereal, and metal.
